FAQ's
Are wetsuits and surfboards included?
Yes, we have 5/4 winter wetsuits & Vision soft top surfboards for all sizes.
Where do we meet?
Our Kit Trailer is located on the left hand side of Whitesands car park, next to the ice cream van.
Please try to arrive 15 minutes before you lesson starts.
What do we need to bring?
Swim wear, towel, a drink & some sun cream.
Any prescribed medication you need.
Warm clothes to change back into.
What's the minimum age?
8 and above for regular Surf Lessons
Do i need to be a strong swimmer?
No, beginner lessons take place in waist-deep water so you can stand up easily and always touch the bottom.
What happens if it's flat, or too rough?
In the unlikely event that the surf conditions aren’t suitable, we’ll contact you ahead of time to offer the option to reschedule your lesson for a better day. If you’re unable to make an alternative date, we’ll provide a full refund.
Can i wear my own wetsuit?
Yes, provided it's full length and keeps you warm.
Can i bring my dog?
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on Whitesands Beach between May 1st and September 30th. However, dogs are still welcome on the coastal path and in the small bay next to Whitesands.
Is the car park free?
Sadly not, parking costs £6.50 for the day
Where do i leave my belongings?
You can leave your valuables in our trailer, which will be locked up during your surf session.
